Find the optimal overclock range for your GTX 1050Ti without relying on presets. The videos you saw were misleading, but one suggests setting voltage to 100% and another to max. Your system stays very cool, which proves it's effective.

Looking for the optimal overclock configuration for my GTX 1050Ti? I’ve seen some videos but most advice seems off. One person suggests setting voltage to 100% and another says maxing everything out, which is fine. I just want to know the safe limits without using preset overclocks. My system stays cool almost all the time, even under load—proof of its performance. Those people are confusing, but maxing power limit on a 1050 Ti is still useful. Also, if you have G1, it’s impressive. Follow this guide and you’ll be good to go.

Every cpu/gpu differs, noone can guarantee that the oc settings for person A will work on person Bs system. You should use Afterburner and increase your power limit. Than you should increase core clock and memory clock. Then you should use a gpu stress test, such as Unigine Valley(its free). If you pass the benchmark it is a good sign that the oc is stable. I dont suggest raising voltage. Just raise as much as you can on stock voltage. Though, 1050TIs do overclock pretty well. Mine got stable to 1923 on stock voltage.

Would just recommend not doing it. You won't get a substantial gain on air cooling and whatever you get will never reach the next tier of card. GPU boost already does the job and does it very well. You might go from like 1900 to 2000 and have the card become unstable in a week or two. Nvidia purposely designs their cards this way because if they didn't who would buy a 1050 over a 1060, 1060 over a 1070, 1070 over a 1080? Etc etc. If you want more power, just upgrade your video card. Throwing unnecessary amounts of voltage or multipliers on it to get roughly a 5% boost on air isn't worth it imo. I've owned all cards from 970 - 1080 and currently own the 1080. I never saw a reason to OC GPU on air. I still OC my CPU's though and that is where I'd go if you're wanting a slight boost.

With samsung memory installed on that card, you can reach over 350 memory slots without any problems. I had my OC'ed unstable 1973 on core with a max of 4504.

Looking for the optimal overclock configuration for my GTX 1050Ti? I’ve seen several videos, but most advice seems misguided—some suggest pushing voltage to 100% while others claim maxing everything out. Personally, I prefer not to rely on preset settings and want to know the safe limits. My system stays cool enough that the fan rarely turns on, even under load, which proves how effective it is. Those who claim otherwise are clearly misunderstanding the card’s capabilities. For those with a G1, following this guide should get you good results.
