I just got a GTX 1050 with 2GB RAM and am excited to try overclocking. I came across MSI Afterburner, which claims to help with this. Since I’m not very familiar, could you share the optimal settings for this GPU? Also, I don’t have access to the power limit feature in MSI Afterburner.

Jason21715:
The setup looks quite similar. I own a GTX 1050 and they have a GTX 1050 Ti. Are you certain I can replicate their exact configurations? Most basic settings are the same, though some can be overclocked differently depending on the GPU model. Just follow his approach, but adjust the clock speed based on your specific GPU.

It seems you're referring to something about "pretty much it." Could you clarify what you mean? The link appears to be a YouTube video, but the content isn't fully visible here. Let me know how I can assist further!

Makentox :
Jason21715 shared some insights.
They mentioned having a GTX 1050 and a GTX 1050 Ti, asking if the exact settings can be copied.
Most basic configurations are similar, though overclocking possibilities vary by GPU model.
They suggested following the creator's method but noted that clock speeds can be adjusted depending on the specific GPU.
In the video, they warned against overclocking the GTX 1050 to avoid damaging motherboards or PCIe slots.

Avoid increasing GPU speed by drawing all power solely from PCIe slots.
