I recently overclocked my GTX 750 ti PALIt OC edition 2gb. I thought it'll improve my fps at GTA 5, but I get around 20-30 fps at low settings. Processor is amd a8-5600k, 4 gb ram and Motherboard is F2A85-M LE

If performance has deteriorated, revert the clock speeds to their original values. I anticipated a crash or color distortion, which could lead to failure and video driver communication errors causing freezing or stuttering.

At most, an overclock only increases the speed by the amount you overclocked—like going from 30 FPS to a maximum of about 33 FPS with a 10% increase.

I suggest:
a) Return to the default settings (they’re already optimized for overclocking), and
b) Adjust the settings carefully if you want higher FPS.

Most users set the values too high, prioritizing graphics over smooth gameplay.

If performance has declined, revert clock speeds to their original setting. I expected a crash or color issues, which are causing communication errors between the video driver and resulting in freezing or stuttering. Just a note, an overclock usually only increases the speed by the amount you overclocked—like going from 30 FPS to a maximum of about 33 FPS with a 10% increase. I suggest:
a) Return to the default settings (they’re already optimized for overclock), and
b) Adjust the settings slightly if you can for better frame rates.

Most users set too high because they prioritize graphics over smooth gameplay. Can you help figure out the best adjustment for your card?

Not precisely. You might search online for others' experiences, but you'd need to compare an AMD CPU and GTX750Ti (most AMD CPUs should be similar to FX-4300, etc.).
YouTube isn't very useful here because you'll likely end up adjusting things yourself.

Photonboy suggested looking up examples online but warned it might not be useful since you'd likely adjust things yourself. He recommended checking if the game causes screen tearing and adjusting FPS settings accordingly. He also mentioned trying different graphic options, like removing anti-aliasing, and found some guides helpful. For experience tweaking, he advised changing VSYNC settings based on your monitor's capabilities and maintaining a target frame rate.
