GTA V rendering issue with D3D int settings
This crash is really frustrating right now, are you feeling the same? My specs are listed in my profile. I've tried updating drivers, disabling overclock, running the game in safe mode and checking the cache, but nothing works. I also turned off shadow play, yet it still causes the same issue. It seems completely random and happens whenever I play. I just invested a lot—40 grand for a heist setup—to reach my goal, spent five agonizing minutes driving in a terrible car, only to face this annoying crash. My other games are fine.
I didn’t make any permanent changes, I thought the patch would work for me.
I attempted to launch GTA Online. Created a character and it loaded correctly online. Exiting online mode sent me back into story mode, which functioned without issues...no crashes. Currently, the same problem happens when opening story mode directly from the main menu, but switching between online and leaving online still works smoothly. This seems to be the only viable solution at the moment—worth trying. http://gtaforums.com/topic/785989-gta-v-...-it-opens/
I looked for information but didn’t find any results. It seems I had to search using "err gfx drd int" in the title. The relevant thread addresses turning off Fraps, which matches your situation. Since you don’t have Fraps installed and shadowplay is already disabled, a new discussion might be necessary for a different solution.
I noticed a few issues but didn’t focus much since I’m not impacted by them. You asked if others are experiencing it, which makes me think you haven’t checked the forum. Just a quick note. P.S. If you manage to fix it and spend many weekend hours playing, I’d love to invite you to Heist. We could do five heists together with the same group to earn bonuses. You’re already on my friends list.
