My current model runs at 3.7ghz and should perform comparably or even better than the i5. It's a newer generation with improved performance per clock and higher IPC. I was concerned about the CPU specifications before checking this, but it actually scores much higher on passmark tests.
You're asking about a Haswell I3 and wondering if it's right for you. What do you mean by that? @zappian
I wasn’t aware the details were exposed, but the suggested processor is a 2500T and the graphics card a 6970—so you should be all set to play at 60+. Just a minor side note, I guess.
