It seems you're no longer needing dxvk because it's included with Proton. You're having trouble finding the Rockstar Games launcher, and you mentioned installing it through Wine. Double-check the tour game data message to confirm everything is set up correctly.

Intel core i5-3210m GTX 1050 with 2GB RAM. A minor issue with the launch menu for Rockstar games—possibly installation problems.

It seems the issue might relate to the installation location or a specific version. Check if the game is on an external HDD and ensure you're using the most recent update (5.0.6). Try removing the wine prefix and restarting the installation again.

What operating system is active? Are all required packages installed for your environment?

Check which platform is used to install the game—Steam or Rockstar. If it’s Rockstar, confirm whether you used Lutris or installed via your system's Wine. Also, identify your operating system distribution if the installation isn't through Steam.

It is available through Steam, but with the latest update you need the Rockstar Launcher to be running.

Modify your Steam launch settings to include PROTON_LOG=1 and save the resulting log file to a designated location.
