GTA V low fps
GTA V low fps
I upgraded my GPU from a GTX 1050Ti to a GTX 1660 Super. Testing games showed a big improvement—low settings gave around 60 FPS, while high settings pushed it to over 100 FPS. Now in GTA V, performance drops significantly. I usually get about 50 FPS in town with low textures and settings, but smooth 70 FPS with high settings on the old GPU. Why does GTA V feel worse now? Could be hardware differences, driver issues, or something else? The game runs fine on my old HDD, but that doesn’t seem to matter. Help needed?
After receiving it, I downloaded the drivers from the NVIDIA website...
DDU stands for Dduit, the software used to manage Nividia's services. You installed it from their official website.
Additionally, the GPU wasn't an NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super; it was a GeForce model, and it came with Aorus drivers CD.
Use the DDU tool to remove the display driver. After installing and launching it, download the latest drivers from the Nvidia website: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis...nload.html
They match exactly... Is this the method to completely remove a GPU driver? You can find more info here: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis...nload.html
You have NIVIDA drivers installed; should you switch to Aorus versions?
