Typically, I would experience freezes lasting about a second every minute due to stuttering within the game. I followed three steps from that previous discussion:
I accessed the NVIDIA Control Center > 3D Settings > Program Settings and selected “Grand Theft Auto V (gta5.exe)” while adjusting Maximum pre-rendered frames to "1". I also disabled Shader Cache and enabled threaded optimization.
I initiated GTA and set Grass Quality to “Normal” within the graphics settings. Within the game, I reduced Extended Distance Scaling to its lowest setting in the advanced graphics options. My observations... I have invested considerable time playing GTA. I had previously been unable to resolve the stuttering issue as I was unaware of the underlying cause. Ideally, installing the game on a solid-state drive would alleviate the prolonged loading times.
