Your GPU is using about 60% while your CPU is at 50%. This isn't a problem, so why does this occur? You've updated drivers several times. You're running at 2560x1080 in ultra wide mode with medium settings, aiming for many frames, but consistently reaching around 70-80 FPS. Please assist. Your system has an I7 6700K CPU, ASUS PRIME Z270-A motherboard, GSKILL Ripjaws DDR4 16GB, RTX 2070 GPU, and a Super Case from NZXT. Storage includes WD 1TB SSD, plus a Samsung EVO 250GB SSD, and you're using an EVGA 650W PSU with LG cooling fans.

Did you verify the power mode in the NVIDIA control panel? Have you configured it for high performance? Also, did you adjust the power settings in Windows Power Options to high or ultimate performance?

These are both optimized for peak performance.

Have you verified the temperatures while playing? Or the CPU/GPU speeds during gameplay?

Temperatures are excellent. The GPU is at 65°C and the CPU stays under 70°C. I haven’t done any overclocking, yet all performance levels are within expected ranges.

That's interesting. The VRAM consumption is higher with ultra-wide displays, which allows for more graphical details than standard 1440p settings.

Check system metrics using HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner. Task Manager stats might mislead; look for identical values. If multiple threads show high load (100%) while others are lower, it may indicate a CPU bottleneck from limited multi-threading support.

These are the programs I've been working with. There aren't any main threads or cores getting too busy, and they stay around half capacity while playing GTA.

No frame-rate goals or FPS limits are configured anywhere, correct?

Only a small portion of your VRAM is being utilized, which likely isn’t the issue.
