Simply replacing the processor should resolve it.

I experienced a comparable problem with my Ryzen 3 1200 and RX580.

The central processing unit reached maximum capacity during gameplay in Grand Theft Auto, causing the game to lag. After upgrading to a Ryzen 5, the lagging ceased.
