Hi everyone, I just got my PC built and I'm facing some issues with GTA5. The game keeps freezing during launch or when joining an online session, and it freezes the whole system. When it does freeze, my entire PC stops working. I checked the Task Manager but didn't find anything related to rzsurroundVAD. My specs are an Intel i7-7700K, GTX 1080, 32GB RAM, ASUS H270F. Any suggestions or help would be super appreciated!

Open Task Manager, raise priority for your task, and check Steam's game cache. If issues persist, use DDU and reinstall GTA V.

The issue you're facing likely stems from having Razer Surround installed on your PC. I suggest removing it if you do, as it probably isn't listed in Task Manager. As BuckGup mentioned, check the game cache and related files; if that fails, a corrupted install or driver problem might be the cause. Additionally, if your GPU has been overclocked, try disabling the OC to see if it resolves the problem, since some games are sensitive to changes in overclock settings.
