one with 3GB RAM on PCIe 3.0 x16, and another with 3GB on PCIe 2.0 x4. Can you confirm the total memory available and whether your system supports the required bandwidth for GTA5?

Currently, V-RAM doesn<|pad|> can't be combined in SLI or Crossfire setups. Adding another card on a 2.0 4x lane might not be advisable.

No problem, the VRAM won't stack. You might be able to shoot around, but it doesn't look like a solid setup, so it could fail.

I noticed a comparable feature in Max Payne 3. It mentions having over 6 ghz of VRAM thanks to my Crossfire R9 280s with three 2gb chips. I prefer to think I'm more savvy, so I've tweaked my settings to keep the VRAM estimate below 3 gb. Probably DirectX 12 will help combine VRAM across multiple GPU configurations if I recall correctly. I'm eager for this! It seems none of the current titles will use it, unless it's another layer of development similar to coding for multiple CPU cores. Otherwise, we might never see this come to life.
