GSYNC Fortnite Blurry
GSYNC Fortnite Blurry
So the HF version of that monitor functions as a FreeSync monitor with Gsync support (no real Gsync hardware, everything handled in software).
Its FreeSync range is reported between 48Hz and 240Hz according to DisplayNinja and other sources I'm checking. This means the blur you notice might be due to your frame rate dropping below 120Hz and appearing as a blur instead of choppiness.
I also recall that the Fortnite update significantly reduced framerates for many players when switching their character models or building objects, causing noticeable drops in performance.
I’m not sure how well the 2060 model handles Fortnite at 240Hz right now, but I know many with 1080Tis and 2080s are experiencing similar issues.
TL;DR, the "blur" you see is likely caused by a sudden drop in frame rate during building or model changes because of the recent update. Try adjusting your game settings or lowering your refresh rate to 144Hz and see if it improves.
After mentioning that I heard a friend discuss the update’s impact on quick turns, I think this could be the main reason.
(I don’t play Fortnite myself, but I’m friends with several competitive players and an esports organization owner, so I hear a lot.)
If you turn off G-Sync you might notice screen tearing or something similar. G-Sync only works effectively when you go far below your monitor's refresh rate, otherwise it has no real impact. Some free monitors may have problems with G-Sync, which could explain the issue.
It seems there might be some confusion in your question. The phrase "bought the cabel" doesn't align with the context of overclocking a CPU. Could you clarify what you mean? Are you asking about purchasing a component and its impact on CPU performance?
Your PC can handle 10 Fortnites smoothly. Without a Gsync display, you should turn it off.
Because it only supports "Gsync compatible" screens and isn't a genuine Gysnc display, you'll notice a variation in quality. It seems there are timing problems that aren't fixed on this monitor, and since it doesn't appear on the G-SYNC compatible list (check here for the full list), it isn't officially recommended for Gsync use. I'd really suggest turning it off if you were me.
