You're unsure about upgrading to DDR5 versus DDR4 3200 CXL, especially with budget in mind. It might be better to go with G.Skill, which has a good track record. The price difference could matter depending on your needs. Consider the performance gains of DDR5 if you're using a compatible motherboard and CPU.

Opt for inexpensive GSKill Ripjaws RAM or similar alternatives to temporarily boost memory while DDR5 becomes available.

We dont know. 12th gen 3rd party reviews arent out, there's no source on performance difference between using DDR4 and DDR5. Your terminology makes me think you already have DDR4, so no rush in getting to your answer really.

In short, you need to wait until the 12th generation is released and evaluated, and DRDR5 must also be assessed before reaching a final decision.

Clear outcome confirmed. For those who like estimates, Gigabyte's Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4 board suggests faster DDR4 speeds (3600 or above) might fit lower to mid-range 12th generation CPUs such as i5s. Just no solid proof yet.
