Hello, Grid Autosport is available for $10 on Steam. Worth it? That depends on your priorities. I own a Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel and prefer racing simulations that aren’t too casual. Gran Turismo appeals to me, but I’m not into arcade-style games. On PC, I mainly play unoptimized sims or subscription-based titles until Project Cars launches. Is it a good idea to buy Autosport now as a motorsport game? I also own Grid, Shift 2 and Dirt 3. What I enjoy about Grid is the ability to build your own team or join one. Can Autosport offer similar features? How does the handling and graphics compare?

it handles better on amd compared to nvidia, yet it delivers impressive driving dynamics—especially in time trials, which are really fun.

For superior control, realistic feedback, and accurate physics, skip Grid Autosport.

Reject this advice and look for a nearby sim group to compete with, if you locate one that's solid, you'll enjoy the game for years. Assetto Corsa is a worthwhile choice.

Grid Autosport offers an enjoyable experience, but it seems to stray from its intended purpose. Assetto Corsa stands out as a superior option for racing simulations. Autosport blends elements of simulation and arcade, which can feel inconsistent. Playing with a physical controller might not deliver the satisfaction you expect. Despite this, Grid 2 maintains familiar handling and remains accessible with a controller, ensuring cars feel similar across models.

Thanks for the feedback. I plan to allocate funds toward a new CPU and motherboard so I can enjoy Assetto Corsa and Project Cars without my FX-8350 experiencing issues. Running ARMA games is even more challenging for me.

You're right to be late—I only got Autosport with my i7 and haven't even started reading it yet.
