Hi everyone. I've been trying everything but nothing worked. My ASUS Prime Z490-A motherboard, after updating the BIOS to version 2201, isn't booting when using a second PCIE slot—just shows the ASUS logo screen. I went back to the oldest BIOS version available on the ASUS site, which is 2103. It let me boot with a second slot but then I started seeing a green screen and the PC would freeze, requiring me to shut down the PSU just to restart. This happens with any one or two slots I use. I've checked many settings and found solutions online, but nothing helped. I'm wondering if the problem might be related to my GPU (AMD RX6700), though it worked on another PC. I also tried using a different GPU (AMD RX5700) without fixing the issue. I'm hoping someone can give me advice.

Slot 1 is your RX6700 GPU. Slot 2 refers to the following x8 or x16 slot, depending on your setup. Are you asking about the immediate next one or the one closest to the GPU? Let me know!

Green screen issue? - AMD driver problem. Is MSI Afterburner set up? - Restart its settings or remove it (begin in safe mode).

Thank you for your response. Confirmed: one slot is for GPU, the next is PCIe expansion card, and I also attempted another GPU in that slot.
