When playing games, it should display details about CPU, GPU, RAM, and thermal performance. Do you have any recommendations besides M-Series afterburner?

What GPU do you have? If you have an AMD GPU, hit Ctrl+Shift+O (Radeon Overlay) and it will show you all those things. No need for 3rd part software.
Why not Afterburner?

I'm using the asus gpu tweak, they seem to clash. The GPU is gtx 980, nvidia has a monitoring tool, but it doesn't appear when I record videos or show thermal data—only the GPU usage and CPU are visible.
