I'm planning on buying the new Ryzen 5000 Series CPU. Couple of things: 01. This is the last year that AMD is going to support AM4 socket. 02. I don't plan on using PCIe 4.0 accessories or anything. So, 01. Should I buy a b450 that's going to support Ryzen 5000 with bios update? 02. Should I buy a b550 that's going to support Ryzen 5000 right out of the box? I ask this because if this is the last AM4 supported generation than would b550 or x570 support the next gen CPUs (AM5) cause if not then I'd rather save some cash with a b450. Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks
They plan to proceed with that CPU socket. If it's the final generation of AM4, then the X570 or B550 won't fit. The B450 model should still work.

Unfortunately PCpp doesn't list Bangladesh. However, some solid options around the price of the B450 Tomahawk Max tend to be. The B550 Pro VDH, B450 A Pro look quite strong, and the Tomahawk Max is also okay if you're not looking for the top models. The B450 can run Zen 3, though it depends on the vendor releasing a beta version. MSI confirmed Zen 3 support for 400-series boards. Generally good choices without breaking the bank: B550 A Pro, B550 Pro VDH, B550 Tomahawk, B550 Aorus Pro, B550 Strix F, and X570 Tomahawk plus X570 Tuf Plus.
Yeah, bro. If the next generation didn’t need a socket change and the CPU supported x570, they’d probably go for the x570 Tomahawk. But since it’s going to be outdated soon, spending on a pricey mobo feels like a waste. Let’s check if the B450 Tomahawk still gets support and the BIOS is solid enough—then we’ll consider that. Otherwise, b550 will be my go-to unless I can find a decent x570 at a discount. Also, I’m really frustrated about not having our country support.
The B450 Tomahawk MAX will receive updates for the Ryzen 5000, but the patch won't be available until January 2021. Unless you're willing to wait that long or already have a compatible CPU, the B550 remains the superior choice.
