You have a Ryzen 5 1600 system with 8GB DDR4 RAM, an RX580 graphics card, a 500GB SSD, a 2TB HDD, and you're experiencing lag and crashes while running mods in GTA. It seems the issue might be related to storage performance or resource contention. Consider upgrading to faster storage, checking for driver updates, or managing background processes to improve stability.

Only the game stops running? Keep an eye on your temperatures and resource consumption. It seems 8GB could be causing issues.

A few mods can introduce minor instability, especially on a platform that isn’t fully unified. I’d review your usage stats to understand how your components are being used. Also, do a quick search for common reasons behind crashes in GTA V or the mods you’re installing. I recall once Civilization V failed to load due to antivirus interference, and there were times when NZXT CAM running in the background caused issues.

I think you're applying changes while the game wasn't meant for them. Check the Event Viewer, navigate to Custom Views, then Admin Views, and search for the ID number if something seems off.
