Recently got a used 3070. Looked new in box; and have since been having issues. Before I was running a 1660TI with absolutely no issues. Anything I can try before considering this a bad GPU? The issues: Random restarts Games crashing abruptly (both when GPU is under load and at idle; idle being about 300mhz-ish and 30w according to hwmonitor) Random blackouts (screen goes black from either a split second up to 5-6 seconds) Occasional responsiveness stuttering (mouse skipping like a 2002 Dell) Windows often gives me a "Video Scheduler Internal Error" The specs: Mobo: Gigabyte Aorus B450m Pro Wifi CPU: AMD 5800X GPU: ASUS 3070 RTX Dual OC PSU: SeaSonic 750X Gold RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB 4000MHz (downclocked to 3600) Storage: Samsung 980 PRO 2TB What I've tried: Reinstalling Windows 11 (and all updates) Updating/Reinstalling Drivers Updating BIOS on 3070 Reseating GPU Underclocking Overclocking Stress testing to force the issue (crashes still happen just as often; ie no more often than sitting idle)

Seems like you're on a tight budget.

I'm focusing on that idea. I was truly hoping I missed something to revive it.

Are there any warranty labels on the back or covering screws? If not, it likely means they were removed. You might need to take it apart and check for anything missing or damaged.

I haven't considered it before. I'll have to attempt that tomorrow. Appreciate the suggestion.
