Hello. @Hinjima , I'm tagging you because you were helpful and help me fix my speaker problem I had before. Thanks! I have new information since this post was last posted - One, is that it happened twice yesterday, and another, is that the last time it happened, AMD bug report tool popped up saying that it detected a driver timeout. Also, this problem is happening more often than before and also is occurring more randomly - not just when I wake the computer/monitor display up. Those give me other reasons to think that the AMD iGPU's drivers are causing this probelm, rather than motherboard, or even HDMI, like @Kisai said in my last post. It's getting quite annoying. Another thing - The static screen usually goes away when I wait ~5 minutes (the same time as my monitor sleep timer). This is what I said on my last post - I've been having this AMD iGPU or motherboard or monitor problem (I'm not sure, but I think it's the GPU or motherboard) the whole time I've had this computer. When the computer monitor is woken up (after the turn off screen timer), then I sometimes see this static moving grey screen with two black streaks. How I temporarily fix this problem, is to either unplug the monitor's power, or the HDMI cable, then plug it back in again. I believe I remember seeing this on my old monitor too, but the same computer, but it happened randomly) This only happens sometimes on a random schedule (sometimes one day after the other, or a break for a month!) Here is a video I got during the problem - https://photos.app.goo.gl/We9PQh728CwTsDcM7 . I have run FURMARK before, but not for longer than an hour, and no problems showed. The BIOS is up to date, and this problem has persisted through Windows factory resets and updates and GPU driver resets and all. I ran OCCT for about 6 minutes (on 100% VRAM test, though it's an iGPU without VRAM), and no bad results. I'm starting to think this is a hardware issue, rather than software/drivers, for three reasons - 1. It happened over driver updates and Windows updates and factory resets 2. I see a similar screen during HP hardware diagnostics GPU testing, though it didn't find any errors with my GPU (which you can see the video here - https://photos.app.goo.gl/R3wZ9KTQtoWffCEu9 3. Someone in the reviews of the same computer I have (HP Pavilion TP01-2165z stock, no upgrades) had a similar problem to me (picture link here- 1134519e-6ab2-55be-a126-335098af40b9 (800×600) And recently, it's getting worse. It did it even when the monitor was awake (not just woken up from sleep). Also, the last time it happened, when I unplugged and plugged the monitor back in, it didn't immediately go as usual. Three times, it said "No Signal" on my monitor (plus a green screen in the middle of it, I thought I'd get the GSOD/BSOD for some time), then was fine again. That last one does make it sound like a PC problem, rather than the monitor. I do think it's hardware and unfixable but just wanted to make sure. My PC specs are listed below. Thanks!
Have you considered a full Windows reinstall rather than just resetting to the factory settings?
I reset the PC using Windows Settings. Sometimes I cleared everything and other times I just kept my files.
Copy your files to an external hard drive and attempt a Windows reinstall.
