Hi everyone, I'm attempting to install a BIOS update for my GPU (MSI R9 270 Gaming 2G) that supports UEFI. I discovered the BIOS from TechPowerUp but encountered an error stating "P/N mismatch" when trying to flash it. The provided P/N is incomplete—only showing xxx-xxx instead of the full number. I'm unable to locate a matching P/N and can't open the .rom file with the BIOS editor you suggested. It seems the file might not be compatible with the editor or the correct P/N isn't available. Could anyone assist in obtaining the proper P/N or help identifying the right version? Thanks for your support. I've attached the BIOS file as well.

Don't rely on a graphical interface for the process. Place the BIOS file you wish to update in the same location as amdvbflash. Open a command prompt with admin privileges, navigate to the amdvbflash directory, and run: amdvbflash -f -p "0" "NAMEOFYOURBIOS.bin". I’m not liable if you don’t update the correct BIOS. I won’t assist with recovery attempts if things go wrong, as a secondary graphics card is required.

I saw a video by Gamer Nexus using the GUI directly. Thanks for the tip. I own up to it. May you be with me.

I followed your instructions, but the system keeps showing a P/N mismatch issue without resolving it. It seems only UEFI-compatible BIOS is linked to this problem. You might need to check or update that specific BIOS setting.

I'm facing the same issue too. The fix is to use the older AMD VBFlash version 3.04. You can find the download here: https://www.igorslab.de/en/red-bios-edit...limited/3/ Also, check the file upload page for the Windows installer: https://www.file-upload.net/download-143...s.zip.html
