Hello everyone,
I’m using a Windows 11 laptop with a 3070 and an i9-12900H processor, along with 16GB of RAM. When playing 2K25, the performance drops significantly, only achieving around 20 FPS with frequent stutters, rendering the game nearly unplayable. I’ve checked Razer Cortex, which indicates my GPU usage is just 1%, even though the 3070 is set as the main graphics card in both the game settings and NVIDIA control panel. Are there any possible solutions to this issue?

Check the game source using Task Manager and Resource Monitor to monitor system performance during gaming. Open both applications but operate them one at a time. Maintain the windows visible to track changes when the game stutters. Manually download GPU drivers from the manufacturer's site. Restart and adjust settings without third-party software.

Hi Ralston18, thanks for your response.
I downloaded the game from Steam, and my Task Manager shows normal GPU usage. But the in-game FPS counter keeps showing 1% throughout the session. I’ll follow your advice to manually install the GPU drivers and let you know once it’s done.

The FPS indicator might be displaying data from the combined GPU instead of the separate discrete GPU.
