Hi all,
I'm just starting out with overclocking and have a few questions.
I own an Asus GTX 1080 Ti with GPU Tweak 2 installed.
I've customized the fan curve for the external fans connected directly to the GPU, which has resulted in my GPU Boost clock being at 1708 MHz instead of the default 1683 MHz, and my Memory Clock at 11100 MHz rather than 11010 MHz.
Everything is functioning properly so far.
However, I've noticed that during gaming, my GPU clock can jump to over 1900 MHz.
Could anyone confirm if this is typical behavior? Is it safe to keep these settings unchanged?
Also, could you explain why the clock exceeds the specified limits?
Thanks for your help, and appreciate you taking the time.
