I operate my GPUs, and when the loop reaches maximum temperature I stop using the card, dropping it to around 30C. However, my heat gun shows the loop temperature is still 50, which might indicate an issue as the loop continues to cool.

As grimfox mentioned, the loop removes heat more slowly than the GPU does when cooling down

It requires effort for the heat to exit the loop, and similarly, it needed effort for the heat to arrive at the loop.
