This test setup I just got is distinct from my usual one. It consists of an i7-990x running on a ROG Ramage II Extreme with a Silverstone TJ07B. The GPU I'm trying to set up is an RTX A4000, possibly paired with a GTX 970.

What is the power source for the system? Is the 970 compatible with it? It might be a power problem or a board compatibility issue. Not clear yet.

The PSU is a Tagan BZ Series 1300W and the 970 functions properly... it's the sole GPU that needs to connect with the system... nothing else works

Does the motherboard accept UEFI settings? The A4000 may lack support for older BIOS versions. It seems unlikely it handles more than 4G decoding, though this could mean a VRAM limit or a complete boot failure. Recent discussions on Reddit suggest ACPI 2.0 must be activated for Turing cards to function on X58, possibly indicating Ampere faces similar challenges.

It functions with my Core 2 setup and should work on an i7, though it doesn't. I also confirm ACPI 2.0 is enabled.
