GPU stuttering in AFOP
Hello everyone.
the specs are listed in the sig.
I was playing avatar before and everything was okay. the gpu was running at 99% usage with a temperature between 59-62c. the cpu was around 32% utilization, temperature 56c. system memory was about 24gb usage. the gpu memory was near 15000 utilization.
i restarted the game for dinner and it came back after about 2 hours. now my gpu is stuttering frames. the usage fluctuates a lot during the game—ranging from 98 to 80 to 64 to 70 to 98 again. before this it was stable at around 99%.
i’ve been reading about this game occasionally now. what’s happening?

I recall problems during the initial launch when overlays were used. It's unclear if that matters now.
