GPU rendering issues in Adobe Premiere Pro plus extra dual GPU concerns
Hello, welcome to the forums for your first post. Greetings everyone! Now let's tackle the questions and get clarified. A few months ago, I purchased a GTX 980. Shortly after, I came across online discussions about running multiple cards—some for gaming, others for PhysX or GPU rendering. This is where I have my queries. Sony Vegas 12 or 13 support Kepler GPUs, so I considered switching to Adobe Premiere Pro... my budget is tight right now. I added "GeForce GTX 760" in the cuda_supported_cards.txt file and changed my video rendering and playback settings to use GPU acceleration. When I rendered a video, the timing matched what the software reported. I have a few questions: Can I render with my GTX 760? Is there an option to update the driver for my GTX 760? If I try updating, my GTX 980 still appears as the default card. How can I verify that the GTX 760 is functioning correctly? Thank you in advance for your help—it means a lot!
The 760 was indeed the refreshed 670. GeForce GTX 670 is also part of the list.
They vary a bit. The GTX 760 features about 1156 cores, while the GTX 670 boasts roughly 1344.
