I'm trying to boost the performance of my GIGABYTE G1 Gaming 980 ti with MSI Afterburner. I've already removed GIGABYTE's OC GURU II because it was causing conflicts with Afterburner.
The problem is that my Power and % never hit 100%, and during the Heaven Benchmark the GPU usage stays at 99%.
GPU-Z shows my power consumption around 85% TDP, core clock +130MHz, memory clock +130 Mhz, voltage +10 mV, and power limit set to 122% (never reaching 100% or exceeding 70 degrees).

It's likely Heaven Benchmark isn't pushing your GPU hard enough. Consider using a more recent test such as Superposition.

I also tried it recently, but it increases power use to about 94%. I heard the GIGABYTE cards are built with a strong overclock from the factory. My setup would run games around 1400MHz before I decided to tweak it for higher speeds.
I just had to accept my situation and adjusted the Core Clock to +70 MHz, Memory Clock to +60 MHz, and Core Voltage to +0mV. Power limit is at 115%.
I won’t give up; though right now I’m not eager to push it beyond the current settings.
