Hello, I'm looking to purchase a Geforce GTX 1050 Ti Superclocked version, but my motherboard doesn't support overclocking. The board I'm acquiring is an Asus B150M-A D3 Micro ATX LGA1151. Could this impact the motherboard or other parts of my setup?

Vulcan15 tried to clarify the situation without knowing your PSU's wattage. They explained the power consumption based on CPU and motherboard usage, noting the GPU would need extra power if it exceeds 75 watts. They mentioned having a 500W PSU and suggested it should suffice.

The type of motherboard isn't important for GPU overclocking. To boost the GPU's performance, you need software, not the BIOS. Overclocking the CPU is not possible.

PC-4LIFE:
When it comes to GPU overclocking, the motherboard isn't the main factor. You use software for this, not the BIOS. Overclocking your CPU is not possible in this case.
So even with that motherboard, you should still be able to overclock the GPU without issues—just ensure you have a reliable power supply.

It's tough to judge without your PSU's wattage.
Your CPU uses 4x4 pin EPS (peak 100 watts) plus 50 watts from the motherboard's controllers.
The 1050Ti gets 75 watts from a PCIe slot and 75 watts from a 6-pin PEG, totaling 300 watts at peak for CPU, motherboard, and graphics card.
Your motherboard may limit GPU overclocking if it doesn't meet the 75-watt requirement, but this is uncommon.

Mikel_4 :
Hard to tell without knowing your PSU wattage, make it simple
your CPU draws from 4x4 pin EPS (peak @ 100 watt) + 50 watt peak used by motherboard's controllers
your 1050Ti draws from PCIe slot (max @ 75 watt) + 6 pin PEG (max @ 75 watt)
so you have 300 watt @ peak solely for CPU + motherboard + graphic card
Your motherboard will hold back GPU OC if it doesn't pass 75 watt, but that is rare.
I have a 500W PSU. That'll be enough, right?
