GPU overclock gone wrong
Hello, welcome to Overclocking! Please forgive any confusion if I'm not explaining clearly.
I have a GTX 750 Ti GPU. One day I tried to overclock it using Thunder Master, aiming to boost the core speed by 200 (the default is 1084) and the memory clock by about 150. After clicking OK, the screen started to behave strangely—flickering, crashing, and showing error messages like "display adapter has been removed." The game stopped working entirely. I reset the GPU and memory clock settings back to defaults and restarted my computer. Since then, I’ve been getting around 7–15 FPS in games like Watch Dogs and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Before this, I could run those games smoothly at 50–60 FPS and WatchDogs at 35–45 FPS.
It was a mistake to push my GPU that high, especially since I'm just starting out. I also checked the Device Manager, and my GPU still appears under the display adapter.
So, was my GPU damaged? And what steps can I take to get back to normal performance?

It seems to have worked for me, though I’m still unsure.

I tried tonight and the only mistakes were that I overclocked my friend's computer while testing the GTX 560 Ti. It worked for a while, but when the game started to crash and the green things appeared everywhere on the screen, MP3 your solution The Hobbit words badly. Thank you very much.
