I'm struggling right now. About a month ago I began noticing these strange, intermittent GPU lag bursts in Warzone or Modern Warfare. FPS dropped sharply even though I kept settings constant and max performance was working perfectly. I have the FPS tracker with GPU temperature and latency details, and CPU latency is enabled to monitor everything. When the lag spikes appear, the GPU temperature hits around 60°C—something I've never experienced before. Frames fall below 10 FPS, and latency jumps to 100-150 ms. The CPU remains very light, around 4-5 ms. Dropping all settings fixes the problem, but even with normal configurations I start seeing these spikes. I'm concerned something might be failing on my card. Although it's not old (I upgraded last year), it feels like it could be malfunctioning. Here are my specs:

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i9 @ 3.60GHz, 31°C
Motherboard: Micro-Star International MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC (MS-7B17)
RAM: 16GB DDR4 4333 (PC4 34600), 288-pin SDRAM
GPU: ASUS PB277 (2560x1440@75Hz) + VX2450 series
Storage: 931GB Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB, 24°C
Audio: Razer Kraken 7.1 V2
Drives: 111GB Patriot Blast, 30°C; 931GB Hitachi HGST HTS721010A9E630, 22°C; 1907GB Sabrent (SSD); optical drives available

I've searched for similar issues after recent updates, but found little help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Occasionally a bunk SSD might lead to GPU stuttering problems. You might want to install it on a different storage device. Also, perform a memory test to eliminate other causes.

Check memory consumption, it could be low. Verify no processes are running in the background, and close unnecessary applications.
