The most visually intense titles before Witcher 3 would likely include:

- **Assassin's Creed II** – rich environments and dynamic lighting.
- **Dark Souls series** – detailed worlds with striking art styles.
- **The Witcher 1 & 2** – lush landscapes and expressive character designs.
- **Horizon Zero Dawn** – vibrant open world and immersive visuals.
- **Red Dead Redemption 2** – expansive scenery and cinematic presentation.

If you refer to benchmark games, then those are... Crysis 3?

Using Shader effects and a detailed texture pack in Minecraft is quite advanced. The provided link shows a preview image from an older version, and Sims 3 often struggles with performance because it doesn’t have Vsync or frame limits.

Based on personal trials, I’ve found AC Unity can be quite challenging, especially with my current configuration. I usually hit around 30 FPS during intense scenes, but on ultra settings lag appears frequently. This is the experience I’m having, though I’m aware there are tougher titles available.

The issue isn't due to high demand, but rather the way it was developed. It's generating more draw calls than DirectX can manage.

Latest altered titles require significant effort, mainly Skyrim and Minecraft.

FFXIV runs smoothly on my system, easily hitting 60 FPS. Most of the time I see 40 to 50 FPS, with a few exceptions like fates. On my 850m, it’s mostly stable except for shadows.
