GPU issues? Driver nvlddmkm not working properly. Screen shows errors.
Hey there, friend. I see the issues you're facing with your PC. The games keep crashing back to the desktop, especially Halo or World of Tanks. It's frustrating when it happens no matter what game you play. You mentioned Event ID 4101 and 14, which seem to point to driver problems—specifically with the display driver not responding but recovering. The description for ID 14 isn't available from the source.
You've tried reinstalling drivers, using DDU, and even a clean install from Nvidia. You've also moved the GPU to a different PCI lane and installed Windows 11 Pro from scratch. Still no luck.
Here are some steps you might try next:
- Check for any pending updates or system updates.
- Run a full system scan with your antivirus software.
- Disable all third-party drivers temporarily to see if it resolves the issue.
- Test the GPU in another BIOS setting to confirm it's not hardware-related.
- Consider using a different USB port or cable for the graphics card.
- If possible, try connecting the GPU via a different PCIe lane on another motherboard.
Let me know what you find, and we can dig deeper! Thanks for sharing your setup details.
sounds more like a disk issue actually.. when disk files are missing.. or something removing/renaming them.. if it can't find the dll.. something is corrupt or corrupting the file
Wouldn't fixing it by reinstalling Windows have been a better solution?
