So i was wondering if you get better FPS when you plug in your HDMI into the GPU vs plugging it into the motherboard. Is there an FPS difference?!

connecting to the motherboard will use Intel/AMD GPU drivers, and the GPU itself handles the rendering. FPS changes often based on CPU and GPU models; generally, Intel IGPU performs worse than a dedicated GPU, leading to noticeable differences.

Ensure GPU uses its own outputs instead of the board's IGPU (unless you're doing something like Optimux).

Most of the time, linking your monitor cable to the GPU is necessary.

As usual, connect it to your GPU. Otherwise, it's similar to purchasing a costly vehicle but opting for a moped with a flat tire. View the GPU as the heart of your graphics; if you don’t plug in cables, it won’t be used.
