Hello,
my Gigabyte 4070 Gaming OC has fans that don’t spin when the PC is idle or under light load. However, during demanding games like Resident Evil the fans begin spinning and the GPU temperatures remain stable. When playing less intense games such as League of Legends or Rocket League, the fans start and stop intermittently every few seconds. I suspect this behavior occurs because the card runs at default temperatures that trigger fan activity. I’m looking for a solution to prevent this frequent starting and stopping, which could shorten the fans’ lifespan. I attempted to adjust the fan curve via the Gigabyte control center, but the interface is quite confusing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’d like to keep this feature to maintain fan life.

This continuous start-stop behavior might cause fan wear, though it’s not a significant concern. I’d prefer to retain this feature to prolong fan life. You may consider using MSI's Afterburner to adjust the fan curve.
