Hey, I'm trying to solve a problem with my GPU. It suddenly drops the video signal mid-game when usage hits 95% or more, and I have to restart the PC to fix it. Even with a solid PSU showing good power output, temperatures remain high around 67°C. I've adjusted all frequencies by about 200 and kept the case open for better cooling, cleaning it every couple of weeks. I've reinstalled drivers and updated Windows several times, but the game still won't work properly. I'm considering VRAM overheating due to poor paste, though I haven't changed it yet because of warranty concerns. I lost a GTX1060 with the same issue last September, and I recently rebuilt my PC just to be safe. The problem on the 1060 started only after a couple of years of regular use, so I thought it was just wearing out. I'm hoping someone else has faced a similar situation.

Have you experimented with software such as Furmark and monitored the temperatures? You might use tools like hardware info 64 to check everything. What’s your power setup? Did you connect the PC directly to a wall socket, tried using another outlet, or checked Event Viewer? Does it report any issues when the system encounters problems? To be honest, I’d consider sending it back for repair—this could have been a bad sign. I had the same issue with my 2070; it was the VRAM chips again, so replacing them resolved everything smoothly afterward.

I would have Event 41, but this indicates an unexpected issue that prevented Windows from shutting down correctly. It seems like something went wrong when I manually turned off the PC. I have hardware information set to 64, but I can't access it because I don't see anything during the event. I also tried running the Furmark, which ran smoothly for about 30 minutes without any problems. The fans seemed to be working normally at first, but then stopped briefly.
