Thanks for sharing the details. Here’s a revised version of your message:

Case: NZXT H510 MoBo: Gigabyte B550 Gaming X (Latest bios: F18h)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
GPU: Gigabyte 3070 8gb RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200mhz
PSU: CoolerMaster 750W 80+
Total Fans in case: 3 Frontside Fans, 2 Backside Fans
OS: Windows 11 24H2 - 26100.4946

The issue I’ve observed is noticeable, especially on hot days or occasionally without warning. After gaming sessions, my screens sometimes become blank. I still hear audio from games, Discord, or Spotify, but I can’t see anything. After several occurrences, I checked Steam/HWInfo and found temperatures regularly reaching 88–89°C.

I managed to reduce power limits, lowered temperature thresholds, and adjusted memory speed via Gigabyte’s control panel. However, the problem has returned more often lately. I’ve attached a CSV from HWInfo Sensor Logging for reference: [link]. I also uploaded the CSV file itself.

A screenshot from recent HWInfo outputs shows the crash happening around 20 seconds before it occurred. I’ll respond as soon as possible with any questions.

Thank you again for your support.

Your GPU is clearly overheating. Should I verify that all fans activate during high demand? (It might be one that’s stopped working.) Additionally, if the fans are touching another component like a PCIe card or the case, attempt to resolve this and ensure the GPU has ample airflow.

I don’t have any storage space left, and all the fans in my setup are running, even the three GPU ones.

The GPU fan curve indicates it will become noisy before overheating, suggesting dust buildup or a weak thermal connection. 1. Use compressed air to remove dust from the cooler, ensuring proper airflow. 2. If safe, take apart the GPU and reapply thermal paste between the die and cooler for better heat transfer.

I'm facing issues with the standard fan curve settings. When I enable the option to run fans at maximum speed using the gigabyte software, it's still quite inconvenient for me. The stores are closed for compressed air maintenance, but I plan to try that tomorrow. Regarding the GPU, I'm unsure if it only uses regular screws or if I need special tools to open it. I've built several PCs but haven't worked on the GPU before.

Usually it involves mostly Phillips screws, though various sizes are used and some GPUs might have unusual screw types. Without a multi-size bit set (like an IFixit kit), it can be tricky. Check YouTube videos of similar GPUs for guidance. You might also reach out to the manufacturer—they may not be under warranty, but could assist.

When you assembled the machine, did you skip the protective film over the GPU's mounting plate?

I own my own computer, but I didn<|pad|> to assemble it myself. I made it for a few friends who wanted a fresh 1. While I double-checked to see if any movies were available, there aren’t any.

The warranty is no longer valid unfortunately. I've been trying to find upgrades, mainly due to this problem. But if I can manage to lower the thermal myself, it would save me from needing a GPU upgrade for a while.

I refreshed my PC and reapplied the thermal paste to my GPU. Temperatures dropped from 50 in idle to around 30. In games I previously experienced crashes, now I only encounter up to 70. With the new battlefield I hadn't tested yet, I reached a peak of 80 degrees. No frame drops occurred, and I've managed to play for at least an hour so far. Thanks for the assistance—it saved me from having to purchase a new GPU!
