GPU connection issue with MSI R9 390

The card works just fine in my room mates computer. No display in mine though. Note I'm using arch linux as an OS though I dont think that's relevant. Edit: had to find mother board details. gigabyte z77-d34 cpu 15 3570k 16 g skill ram

I believe it might be trying to pull drivers from a different card, but I can't even get them into the BIOS. That doesn’t sound like the main issue.

The card functions properly on my motherboard, which is working well with my older card. That’s strange. I’m wondering if the BIOS might be the issue. It performed fine with a 3060 Ti and a 7970.

Certainly, I understand the update. The BIOS now disables UEFI.
