GPU connected with a whining sound
I recently enhanced my PC with these details: CPU: Ryzen 5 7600 (new), Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M BS3H (new), RAM: GSkill 16x2GB @ 6000Mhz CL36 (new), SSD: XPG s70 Blade 1TB (new), GPU: Gigabyte GTX 950 (old, about 4 years), PSU: Silverstone 500W 80 Plus (old, about 2 years). I’ve observed a slight COIL WHINE during login—lasts briefly and stops intermittently, sometimes an hour, sometimes minutes. No sound in BIOS. Removing all peripherals and fans revealed the noise only when the GPU was connected, emanating through the motherboard’s audio jack (green and blue). How can I resolve this so it doesn’t pass through the audio ports? I’m open to a call over WhatsApp if anyone is available this weekend for discussion! Thanks!
It's true, the built-in GPU in the Ryzen 7600X might perform better than the GTX 950.
Well, you know your performance, and here's how the iGPU handles cs:go You can try using the same settings and check.
You're experiencing a noticeable hum or whine during gameplay. This can often be managed by adjusting audio settings or checking for background noise interference. Let me know if you'd like more specific advice!
