Have you considered connecting the monitor to a graphics port on the motherboard? Also, could you tell me the type of CPU you're using—does it include an integrated graphics solution?

I don’t own any other graphics card; my setup includes an i7-14700k with a GTX 980 Ti and MSI Z790 Carbon WiFi.

The CPU includes an IGP, allowing you to connect the display to the motherboard as long as it isn't turned off in the BIOS settings.

I've tested connecting to the iGPU, and I understand it works since my system experienced a blue screen issue linked to the SSD. At that point, I removed the GPU, confirming it has an integrated one.

We have 980 Ti available. The motherboard appears intact with no visible physical damage or burnt spots on components.
