I recently overclocked an EVGA 1080 FTW GPU and accidentally corrupted the BIOS during the process. Before beginning, I saved a backup of the BIOS using GPU-Z, which eases my concerns. I understand the card supports dual BIOS, so I could switch to another one, but I’m curious about resetting the damaged one. Thanks in advance for your help.

When you don't type bios by opening unless you've hit unstable OC settings, just flip the small switch once after POSTing. Then run the flash using the same ROM that works on bricked devices. Turn off the device, switch the jumper back to its original position, and you're all set—this method has been used with 6950s dual bios.

What you were doing was precisely what I was aiming for, flashing the OC bios, lol
Appreciate the assistance, it actually functioned
Thanks!
