I enjoy playing Minecraft but it's running slow. My CPU is around 30% usage and GPU between 30-40 with dual-channel settings. I'm using shaders, Intel i7-7700, and an RTX 1660 Ti with 16GB RAM (2x8). Other benchmarks on my system show much better FPS. Can anyone suggest ways to improve performance?

Do you have OptiFine applied? It significantly increases your FPS. Without it, I typically see around 5 FPS, but with it, I reach about 150.

Some shaders require optimization for proper functionality.

Sure, let me know how you'd like it rephrased!

Minecraft Java runs mainly on a single core, so you're probably using all of it. You can verify this in Task Manager or MSI Afterburner's OSD. Shaders may significantly reduce your FPS; try disabling them to compare performance.
