Experienced with a storm today and lightning hit our area. Power was cut briefly, then restored. The 7900XTX is behaving strangely now. GPU fans spin, LED lights work, but the monitor displays images from the GPU iGPU. BIOS shows it disabled, which means no drivers are loaded—possibly because Windows blocked driver installation. Device Manager lists it as disabled, likely to prevent loading. It seems like an iGPU image is being shown, but since the 7800X3D iGPU is off in BIOS, there should be no output at all. Your specs are noted. Edit: Planning to switch to a different AMD driver.
I’d need to shift the PSU too, though it can wait. The ASRock warranty remains valid but would require shipping from the US to Asia as a final option.
When the AMD driver failed, it essentially removed itself. I turned on the GPU in Device Manager and it appeared again, functioning properly. It seems there might be a problem with the AMD Adrenaline or the driver itself. Edit: If you prefer not to rely on the Windows driver, would you like guidance on using the AMD driver for optimal performance?
