Hey there, I’m really disappointed. This MOBO seems to have stopped working. I’ve been using my PC for about eight months now, and after moving, I can’t use my graphics card on the x16 port. Here’s what I noticed: when I connect it through the x16 PCIe slot, nothing appears on the monitor, though sometimes the boot LED lights up. Switching to the integrated HDMI port works fine. In BIOS, the card isn’t showing up at all on the x16 port, and Windows doesn’t recognize it—only UHD Graphics 630 shows. My first guess was that the graphics card failed, but I tested it on the x4 port and it functioned properly. However, I’m worried about using a high-end card since it sometimes causes black screens during games. Also, this setup isn’t meant for top-tier performance, so I shouldn’t be getting full potential.

What I’ve tried to fix: updated BIOS, refreshed drivers, reset BIOS/cleared CMOS, reformatted the drive, used only one RAM stick, attempted BIOS settings like 4g decoding, turned off integrated graphics, and even removed all peripherals before reconnecting. Still nothing. My specs are pretty good—Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite, 32GB RAM, Corsair 3000mhz DDR4, 1TB SSD, AMD Radeon RX5700, i7-9700k, CoolerMaster cooler, and 750W power supply.

I’m not sure what to do next. Should I replace the card or look for another one?

I also checked for any connection involving light and the phone’s camera, but found nothing. The graphics card functions properly through the x4 port, yet images sometimes disappear, suggesting a possible compatibility issue.

No, I didn't use a different card in the x16 slot.

I don’t have one either. I just moved to a new city and haven’t met anyone yet. Haha!
