Why do you think the DNS stuff is in your post? It's not about DNS at all. DNS just changes a name into an IP address. Once your computer has an IP, it doesn't need DNS anymore, and everything talks directly through that IP. The traffic never goes to the DNS server. Your pingplotter is weird. It looks like you aren't using a router because the first step is coming from an ISP's IP address. What is strange is the second step. This seems to happen inside your ISP network. I don't know what this could mean. If it were the first hop, big delays would happen if you had cellular broadband. It isn't likely that there is a cell connection in between. This also looks like a VPN but it's not common for an ISP to have one in their network. I'd call your ISP and ask them why they are causing that delay. Both IP addresses come back to BHARTI
I am looking at the hop I got on Imgur, and it is Hop 3. Are you seeing Hops 1 and 2 there?
I have a closer look now, but I don't see hops 1 and 2 anymore. That means something serious happened deep inside the internet service provider's network.
I didn't understand what you said, could you please explain it in simple words? Thanks!
