Every time I turn on my PC, a weird message pops up saying "driver timeout." It makes the screen go black and freeze, sounds exactly like it unplugged a USB key. Then another message says "display driver is in safe mode" and the computer starts lagging way too much. I tried cleaning all drivers with DDU and reinstalling the graphics card driver, but that didn't help. Even trying an older version of the driver gave me the same messages. I turned off Windows automatic drivers, reinstalled the whole operating system from scratch, and everything still looks fine inside my computer. I never changed GPU settings or updated the BIOS before this happened. My PC specs are: AMD Radeon RX 6700 with 10GB memory by Sapphire Be Quiet, a B9 600W power supply, a Gigabyte b450 Gaming X motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 processor with six cores at 3.60GHz, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a fast 1TB M.2 SSD from WD Blue SN570, and Windows 10.

My computer looks okay. I have a Gigabyte board (B450M H) with BIOS version 63F. On the internet, you can find a newer update called 63.

The strange part was this: even though I reset the Windows drivers, I didn't get a game crash when playing Elden Ring. The problem only started after I restarted my computer and stopped playing games.

I tried everything but it didn't work, and the memory test or scan now shows no errors at all.

if you try to run a GPU without any drivers, just sticking with the generic ones from your operating system, adding some specs checks, then it might tell you that you're on minimum power supply specs for this specific gpu. check link https://www.sapphiretech.com/en/consumer...-10g-gddr6

I need some more details about the PSU and GPU to fix this problem. I don't know what "check specs" means, so I can't access that link. My power supply is only 650 watts, which might be why I made mistakes on the first post.

I never get a driver timeout error on my Windows PC because it only shows up if I try to use an AMD graphics card.
