Hello there. My Google Sites platform has been running smoothly for more than a year, but recently it's started having problems with the Cloudflare hosting setup. All the relevant data on the Cloudflare side has vanished, leaving me confused about what was lost. Since it was configured quite some time ago, I'm unsure which records need to be recreated so the domain correctly points to my Google Sites site. I've checked numerous online resources, but none provide clear guidance on the necessary setup or record requirements. Contacting Google Support has been largely unhelpful—they simply state that since the domain isn't hosted through Google Domains, they can't assist further. Even though Google Domains is moving toward Square Space, it doesn't seem to offer any real value anymore. I've confirmed my domain ownership via the Google Sites Manager, but now it displays "Invalid Domain," and their documentation appears to strongly suggest issues with Cloudflare services, despite mentioning smaller DNS providers. Any suggestions for alternative hosting options under $5 (or better yet, free) would be extremely valuable, especially since I only need a site that can display text and some images.
