Google Chrome can access websites, but your desktop programs like Steam, Origin, and games aren’t working. It just shows no internet connection. I’m using Ethernet, and my internet went down last Saturday. My ISP technician fixed it, and now everything is back. I can play games like Fortnite again. But sometimes I notice devices won’t connect even when I’m online. Recently, after a slow webpage load, I tried restarting the modem and found only Google and YouTube work normally. Steam, Epic Launcher, Origin, and Minecraft still fail. My Mac connects to Wi-Fi unexpectedly, but my phone keeps saying it’s offline. I called my ISP who followed standard troubleshooting steps. My laptop now works on Wi-Fi, but my PC is down. Some sites load slowly or not at all. Sorry if this isn’t the right place—I’m unsure what to do and have an appointment tomorrow. Anyone had similar issues?
