You're thinking about how important SSD speed is for gaming performance. It really does make a difference, especially if you're looking for faster load times and smoother gameplay.

Take a glance at that content. He examines SSDs and their performance, and I recorded the timing at the SSD speed section in the video.

Playing games on a Samsung 970 Plus is more than sufficient! The price offers great value with quick loading times and ample storage. I’m using a Kingston KC3000 and haven’t reached its top speed before.

They're limited by the operating systems they're built for, not meant for such high speeds. As Jay mentioned, it won't be noticeable, it's completely unnecessary. I own a 970 EVO Plus with an external 650Mbps T7 and in gaming or moving small files, performance is roughly comparable even though the difference is 3000Mbps.
